Lets dispel some common myths

  • “You are not mad” if you go to a therapist for help.
  • Helplessness is not hopelessness; many people need help for different things and from different people in their lives. It ok to need help. Don’t let your ego get in the way of your well-being.
  • What will people think? Well they don’t have to know. We work with complete discretion and confidentiality.
  • I must not be normal. Most people are not normal.
  • I can manage it on my own. Well certainly you should try this out, but don’t spend your lifetime doing this!
  • This is the way I am! There are some things you cannot change! Not true….. Everyone can change! Your mind can unlearn everything it has learnt.
Don’t let your ego get in the way of your well-being.

Do I need Help?

  • If you have been suffering form any forms of persistent anxieties, you do not need to live this way for the rest of your life. Fears, panic attacks, OCD, are all very inhibiting and debilitating emotions.
  • Do you feel you have low self-confidence? Constant self-doubt? Don’t live with it any more!
  • Do you tend to feel low, depressed, and passive? Don’t feel like doing anything for yourself? Don’t even feel like going for therapy? These are the most common symptoms of depression. Don’t let it ruin your life!
  • Do you have self-destructive thoughts? They are positively unhealthy and dangerous.
  • Are you tired or frustrated over the patterns that repeat in your life? Make a change. You can do it.
  • Do you often feel lonely? Learn to celebrate your relationships and grow from them.
